Spice Carriage (Pvt) Ltd began manufacturing lactation cookies in August 2020, launching Lactoboost, Sri Lanka’s first locally produced lactation cookie. Starting from a small space beside a cabinet, the brand has since grown significantly, helping breastfeeding mothers across the country enhance their milk supply.

Mamas Day Out Events

A significant part of what Lactoboost does, has to do with the community. As a business founded by a mother who suffered from breastfeeding difficulty herself, our business is fully aware of the stigma attached to breastfeeding difficulty as well as societal pressures. Our brand is committed to making lives of new mothers better through spreading awareness, communication and creating a safe space for new mothers to commiserate and share their woes. .MAMA'S DAY OUT WITH LACTOBOOST, 2022 and 2023 Mama's Day Out is an event hosted by Lactoboost in conjunction with several Sponsors including Ninewells (Venue Sponsor), Baby Cheramy, Kids Unlimited etc. For the purpose of creating a day of education, indulgence and enjoyment for young mothers. We have successfully completed two mama's day out events with wonderful feedback from participants.
